Alexandra Mărgărit-Enescu

I am currently teaching at the Journalism Faculty, Hyperion University in Bucharest and also am an associate professor at the Faculty of Sociology and Social Work, University of Bucharest. I hold a doctoral degree in Sociology, a degree in Journalism and a masters degree in Political Science. Before embarking the academic carrer I have been a journalist and a freelance for over 15 years. Within the academic institutions I'm working for, I implemented projects that include creating online publications, managing teams of students, coordinating and publishing their articles, I encouraged research in the field o journalism and how to better face the challenges of the new media in the context of the post-truth era and fake news. I wrote studies on new media, communication and the civil society.
