I am a professor and department chair of mass communication with more than 35 years of experience teaching media communication in higher education. Besides teaching, my main interests are 1) the significance of the smartphone in the lives of teens and young adults, 2) the representations of religion in popular shows on television and streaming services, and 3) media ethics.
