Maria Ranieri

Maria Ranieri, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Educational Methods and Technology. Her main research areas include theory and methodology relating to media and technology in education, as well as work around teachers' practices and students' learning. She has worked on and coordinated a number of (European) research projects on media, learning, technology and social inclusion. She is the Vice-President of the Italian Association of Media Education (MED) and co-editor of the journal Media Education: Studies, research, good practices. She has recently edited Populism, Media and Education: Challenging Discrimination in Contemporary Digital Societies (Routledge, 2016).
